Our Food Philosophy
At the YMCA of Middle Tennessee our food philosophy is simple: we believe that food should be stress-free, nutrient-rich and enjoyable. We encourage healthy eating by focusing on a variety of whole-foods and beverages to fuel your body to be its best, and we recognize that healthy eating looks different for everyone. We promote a well-balanced diet, an active lifestyle and positive mindset as the keys to disease prevention and healthy living. At the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, we believe that everyone has the opportunity to make healthier eating a reality, and our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists can help you start healthier eating habits to fit your individual lifestyle and needs.
