Spring has sprung! The days are longer, the sun feels warmer and the trees and flowers are blooming. Changing seasons bring energy and inspiration to the kitchen. It’s an ideal time to try new dishes and incorporate garden-fresh ingredients into your meals. Often, warmer months also encourage us to eat healthier.

Today, I’m sharing light and refreshing dish ideas to enjoy on these invigorating days. If you can, head down to your local farmers market to grab some ingredients. It’s also a great time to purchase herbs to plant in small gardens, in pots on your patio, or in window boxes. There’s nothing like picking your own ingredients for meals! The recipes below use fresh mint, basil and parsley—so those would be great starters.
