In addition to classes specifically designed for youth, a number of our group exercise classes are "youth-friendly" for youth 10 and older.
What classes can my child attend?
Classes with "Youth" in their name are generally available for children age 5-12. Age ranges can vary by class and location, however, so we recommend contacting your local Y if you have any questions about whether or not a class is right for your child.
Youth may attend classes labeled "youth-friendly" based on the following guidelines:
- Youth ages 10-11 can attend youth-friendly yoga, Pilates and dance classes with a parent or guardian.
- Youth ages 12 and up can attend youth-friendly classes on their own.
- Youth ages 14 and up can attend any adult classes on their own.
