Back for its 5th year, the Harvest Half Marathon/5K will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017. The route will take runners along the Brentwood area greenways through the beautiful, scenic landscape of Williamson County. Due to the narrowness of the trails this course, there is a cap at the first 400 runners for the Harvest Half and 400 for the 5K.
Proceeds from all YMCA Race Series events benefit the YMCA of Middle Tennessee's Annual Giving Campaign. As a leading nonprofit committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y uses Annual Giving Campaign contributions to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve community health and well-being, and support people in need right in our own neighborhood. By participating in this race, you are making a lasting impact in your community by giving everyone, regardless of age, income or background, the opportunities they need to learn, grow and thrive.
Course time limit for completion of Harvest Half Marathon is 4 hours from the time the last runner in staggered start crosses the starting line.
The Brentwood Family YMCA will be providing free child care to members (RSVP required by October 28).
The half will be on the Brentwood trail systems and will start and finish on the soccer fields of the Brentwood Family YMCA. It will be an out-and-back with the turnaround in Rain Tree subdivision.
